Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has distributed the second installment of Subhadra Yojana funds to more than 1 crore women. The event took place at Vivek Bihar ground in Ambapua, Berhampur, with around 25,000 women attending. Several ministers, MPs, and MLAs were also present.

Financial Help for Women

Under the Subhadra Yojana, eligible women receive Rs 10,000 per year in two installments of Rs 5,000 each. The government aims to support women financially and improve their lives.

Money Deposited in Bank Accounts

The second installment has been credited directly to the bank accounts of over 1 crore women in Odisha. The first installment was released earlier in multiple phases, with the fourth phase given to 18 lakh women on February 8. In the fifth phase, 2.3 lakh new beneficiaries received financial aid.

Subhadra Yojana Last Date to Apply

The application process for Subhadra Yojana will close on March 31, 2025. After that, government officials will visit homes to check eligibility and register more beneficiaries.
