How to Calculate CBSE 12th Percentage
To calculate the CBSE Class 12 percentage, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Calculate the total sum of 5 main subject scores in the CBSE 12th board exam.
- Step 2: Divide the overall sum by 5.
- Step 3: The resulting value thus acquired will be the percentage scored in the CBSE class 12th board exam.
For example, if your marks in the five main subjects are 50, 50, 70, 80, and 50, the total sum would be 300. Divide 300 by 500 (the total marks) and multiply by 100 to get the percentage, which would be 60%
It’s important to note that the CBSE uses a nine-point grading system that awards grades from “A1” to “E” to obtain exam results. The grading scale is used to analyze the candidate’s performance, where the highest grade is an “A1” and the lowest grade is an “E”.
