- Candidates from Open University or Distance Learning are eligible regardless of the above patterns.

TNUSRB SI Selection Process 2025
Candidates will be selected through the following stages:
1. Written Examination
- Part I: Tamil Language Eligibility Test (100 marks)
- Part II: Main Written Exam (70 marks for Open Quota / 85 marks for Departmental)
2. Certificate Verification
3. Physical Tests
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Endurance Test (ET)
Note: PMT is exempted for Departmental Quota
4. Viva-Voce (10 Marks)
5. Special Marks (5 Marks)
- Based on NCC/NSS certificates or Police Duty Meet medals
